Structural Engineer

My client is a well established civil / structural consultancy who has been in Melbourne for over 30 years. They remain a leader in their space because they are not only continually delivering high quality projects but also focus on creating exceptional internal and external relationships. They are currently looking for an intermediate structural engineer to join their growing team to help support the large workload.
Typically your role on this type of project would be as an Experienced Design Engineer working with other engineer(s) and drafting personnel, all under the Project Director. Through the design phases your role would be assisting with the detail design on the project and attendance at some meetings. Through the construction phase, the role would be the main contact for builder's queries along with site attendance. Typically on such projects, additional scope is obtained through tenant works, for which you would be responsible for managing/designing these as individual smaller projects.
You will need the following experience:

• At least 4 years of local consultancy experience
• Experience working with concrete and steel structures
• Ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• Strong familiarity with Revit to work closely with drafters
