Structural Engineering Role

Location - Inner City Suburbs

Salary - $75,000 - $95,000 based on experience

On top of this they actively monitor there resourcing and transparently coordinates each engineers' hours on a weekly basis, based on the engineers estimates. Role Responsibilities

• Detailed structural design of buildings projects - Education, Healthcare, Aged Care, Commercial and social housing
• Analysis and Design for a broad range of clients
• Attend site inspections and project meetings (with clients, builders, architects, developers etc.)
• Problem solving
• Ensuring that all designs are up to high Standards
• Hands on design and analysis, using software such as ETABS, RAPT and SPACE GASS
• Working closely with clients through continual liaison from conception to completion
• Learning from Senior Engineers

Desirable Qualities/Assets

• Bachelor of Civil Engineering majoring in Structural Engineering (or equivalent)
• 2+ years experience (still apply if less experienced as there are multiple opportunities)
• Proven skills as an Engineer designing buildings within Australia
• Experience designing in steel & concrete
• Knowledge of Australian Building Code and Standards for non-residential buildings
• Hands on experience using SpaceGASS & Rapt (bonus if you have RAM or Microstrand)
