Your New Role
Due to ongoing growth they are looking to bring on a field technician to their team. This role would be a diverse and challenging field-based role. Your critical role will include but not be limited to:

• Operating a ute mounted drill for boring holes
• Taking soil samples and logging these correctly in line with proper procedure
• Working as part of a small team to get the job done at sites all over Melbourne
• Organising your jobs and site visits as well as project management
• Communicating with staff internally and clients

What You'll Need to Succeed

• You will ideally have local experience operating a drill to gather soil samples
• Experienced working on commercial and residential projects
• You will have geotechnical knowledge of soil samples and correct logging practice and procedures
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work with a range of stakeholders including clients
• Ideally a tertiary qualification in geotechnical engineering
• Ideally some experinece with survey gear - topcon or similar
