Site Manager - Mixed Commercial and D&C Apartment projects

• New Project to commence early July
• Excellent support and systems from a well structured builder
• Remuneration up to $180,000 Salary package

My client builds contemporary, bespoke developments with a commitment to the highest quality finishes and highly successful at negotiating new work from an impressive repeat client base.
They are an industry leader in the creation of high-end residential and complex commercial developments. Due to sustained business growth, and several projects about to commence, they are looking to add an experienced Site Manager to their dedicated team. The initial project is a complex D&C apartment project located 5 minutes north of the CBD.

The successful candidate will be required to:

• Oversee all construction activities on site
• Coordinate & monitor subcontractor site activities
• Attend site subcontractor meetings
• Review the design documentation for constructability & safety in design constraints
• Lead & mentor Foremen, OHS Representatives, & all labour on site
• Monitor the implementation of design details & ensure construction in accordance with relevant codes & standards
• Assume responsibility for Site Safety & Environmental Performance

The successful candidate will ideally demonstrate:

• Tertiary or trade qualified
• Minimum of 4 years experience as a site manager
• Attention to detail combined with a sense of urgency
• Proven track record and references
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
• Computer proficiency
• An eye for quality and safety
