Your New Role

Your position will have a number of responsibilities however these will be tailored to the individual and their niche experience as well as take in account their long-term career aspirations.

• Project management of your own smaller projects and team collaboration in major projects across various sectors - Urban development, commercial and residential developments, civil infrastructure- major roads
• Client management and assisting to procure work
• Team mentoring and leadership over your own design pod utilising Microstation for functional layouts, traffic lighting and design of civil works
• Traffic impact assessment and report writing
• Analytical interpretation and presentation of findings in various formats for assessment
• Using these findings to produce strategic insights for the client and external consultancies
• Provide mentoring, guidance and technical advice to junior staff to upskill and assist in their professional development

What You'll Need to Succeed

• Ideally you will come from a engineering consultancy background although technically strong local council background will be considered.
• Technically strong in MicroStation -functional road layouts, lighting design,
• An ability to manage a range of stakeholders and establish strong industry relationships
• Civil Engineering degree or relevant tertiary qualification
• A passionate and accomplished engineer with an ability to lead and inspire junior engineers
