ABOUT THE COMPANY

An internationally recognized architectural practice with over 300 employees throughout several offices around the world. As they continue to secure exciting projects throughout Australia and New Zealand, they're seeking a 2IC station lead to deliver major Rail projects both lcoally and internationally.

RESPONSIBILITY

  • To successful deliver a large complex rail station
  • Manage a large team and delegate responsibilities
  • Report into project director
  • Grow a team and be part of the recruitment process
  • Demonstrate design and technical aptitude, with developing design and technical confidence
  • Contribute to the generation and exploration of design and construction ideas, being aware of the balance of conceptual, aesthetic, constructional and cost influences
  • Contribute to the design work
  • Liaison with the client, stakeholders and authorities, in collaboration with others
  • Help develop and coach junior team members



SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 15 + years' experience and successfully delivered rail stations
  • Exceptional design skills
  • Technical construction knowledge
  • Knowledge of local construction industry legislation, practice and procedures
  • Working knowledge of all project work stages
  • Excellent communication skills to work with internal staff members and external clients
  • Ability to analyse and critically assess problems
