My Client is a bespoke residential builder with an established reputation for delivering high-quality, innovative residential projects. As they look to expand into larger commercial-grade projects (up to $20M), they are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to join their team. This is a pivotal role, where the successful candidate will instrumental in leading their expansion into the commercial sector while training and mentoring our existing project management team.

The Role:
As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and delivering a range of residential and commercial grade projects: large townhouse developments, multi-residential apartments and more. You will lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of projects while managing a variety of stakeholders, from trades networks to suppliers and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the full project lifecycle from design through to completion for residential and commercial projects, up to $20M.
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Manage and mentor a growing team of project managers, providing guidance and training to develop their skills and knowledge.
- Oversee the preparation and management of project budgets, contracts, and timelines.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, health and safety regulations, and company policies.
- Be the primary point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and internal teams, ensuring effective communication throughout the project.
- Lead the claims and disputes process, including risk management, cost control, and quality assurance.
- Support the commercial expansion by driving operational excellence and introducing new processes where necessary.
About you:
- Proven experience in a Senior Project Manager role, ideally within a commercial and residential construction environment.
- Strong background in large townhouse developments, multi-residential apartments, basements, and lifts.
- Experience working in a Tier 2 or Tier 3 space, with exposure to projects up to $20M
- Expertise in claims management, quantity surveying, rates negotiation, and managing a trades network.
- Exceptional leadership skills, with experience training and mentoring project teams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Sound understanding of project management software and tools.
- Local experience is a MUST and live locally
