Senior Estimator | Residential - Volume & Custom

The Company
My client is an award winning volume and custom home builder that has gone from strength to strength over the last 15 years. With an innovative approach to all aspects of their business, High energy efficient builds, this is a company that will keep you engaged throughout your career. Located in the Northern Suburbs of Melbourne, they are on the hunt for an experienced Estimator (exp. in both sales and production) who can add to this company's ongoing success.

The Role

• Quantifying materials and labour required on each job
• Performing detailed BOQs and quantity take offs
• Maintain price files within estimating software
• Ensure all tenders, contracts and variations are accurately completed
• Investigate and resolve issues to produce price quotations
• Obtaining quotes and pricing from suppliers and maintaining registers
• Working closely with internal departments
• Liaise with Construction Manager to improve ordering methods and practices
• Provide training and support to the estimating department to ensure accuracy and efficiency
• Reporting into the Operations Manager

About You

• Driven, motivated and team-oriented personality
• Strong technical and domestic building background
• Thorough understanding of residential building processes and details
• Checking and authorise Energy Rating Report for each job
• Estimating experience of 5 years minimum with a home builder
• Must have exposure to both production and sales estimating
• Databuild experience
• Relevant Tertiary qualifications
