About the Business
Our client is a successful medium density builder in the Victorian residential market. They specialise in townhouses but offer extensive variety in their product, making it a dynamic and stimulating environment to work in. With 15 people in the company and an extremely low staff turnover, this is a place where you can feel like more than just a number and be a real part of the team.

About the Role
Reporting to the Director, you will be the sole estimator in the company so will need to be able to handle responsibility. Duties will include but not be limited to;

  • Producing accurate bill of quantities
  • Issuing purchase orders to suppliers and contractors
  • Applying cost reduction strategies
  • Providing support to site supervisors
  • Liaising with suppliers and contractors
  • Handling variations to building contracts

To be Considered

  • A minimum of 5 years experience as an Estimator with a volume or medium density home builder in VIC
  • Experience across BOQ, Sales and Production Estimating
  • Knowledge of Construct or Databuild software
  • Proven capability to complete take-offs and prepare tender documentation
  • Highly organised and able to meet tight deadlines
  • Thorough work ethic and a knack for multitasking
  • Outstanding attention to detail
  • Must have permanent work rights
