Location: South East suburbs, Melbourne

Salary: $110,000 - $130,000 + super (negotiable based on experience)

Traditionally electrical contractors don't have large engineering teams, or in some cases Engineers at all! That being said a lot of companies are really understanding the value of establishing these teams and that has led to this role becoming available.

I have a brand new opportunity available working with a Tier 1 electrical contractor who have a clear reporting line and structured environment, allowing the successful candidate to come in and really impact the growth of the division. This position is for an electrically biased Engineer to join my client on a permanent basis, working on some of Melbourne's landmark projects.

The Role:

You will be joining a strong team, as the lead Electrical Engineer you will be providing close support to the Project Managers.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to;

• General design within complex and varied projects
• Value and realistic engineering
• Design validation of consultant tender documentation
• Technical procurement and detailing of mechanical engineering designs
• Identification and rectification of engineering issues on site

Essential: Previous electrical engineering experience within the Australian market at either a contractor or consultancy
