This is a large tier engineering consultancy who even in the current climate, are extremely busy. They boast a strong pipeline of work on their books across the nation and are in very strong positions on some upcoming tenders in the local market. Due to their strong pipeline of work and an international relocation, this position has arisen.
In this role you'll be the Principal Designer on some significant road and LXRP projects. Part of this role will be helping improve design efficiencies in InRoads, training the junior staff, supporting interstate offices (from the Melbourne office) and dealing directly with the clients to solve complex design outcomes
Requirements
- InRoads & Microstation proficient, including front end set up
- MX experience advantageous
- 10-15+ years type level experience in design of arterial roads, freeways, interchanges, local roads
- Strong local experience with both MRPV and DOT (VicRoads)
- Committed to training and teaching junior team members
