Revit Drafter | Architectural D&C Builder | South-East

About the Company
My client is a highly distinguished D&C residential builder who has an excellent reputation for producing beautifully designed architectural homes and apartments. Servicing the South-East and the inner suburbs of Melbourne, they have won awards for their breathtaking designs and finishes.

This family and team-oriented company have just moved into a beautiful brand-new office. Luckily enough due to their strong pipeline of work, they were able to maintain all of their staff during Covid and are now in a position to add an experienced Revit Drafter who can add value to the business.

About the role:
You will be reporting directly into the principle designer

• Demonstrated experience in architectural drafting using REVIT for houses/townhouse projects
• Prepare detailed drawings, specifications and constructions plans/documentation utilising Revit software
• Responsible for concept plan drafting, floor plans, elevations and colour schemes drafting, documentation for council development applications & constructions certificates
• Update design/drafting as per latest information and requirements
• Experience working on multiple projects simultaneously
• Must be able to take instructions when briefed from company directors
• Liaise with construction team, relevant Engineers and Consultants (i.e Structural, Services, Fire Engineer, BCA, Environmental) and ensure a smooth process for construction of Houses and Apartments

About You:

• Formal Architectural qualifications
• Ideally have 5 years architectural knowledge and experience
• Must have min 3 years' experience in architectural drafting (using REVIT) for residential projects
• You have a strong and creative portfolio that demonstrates your design/drafting and craft experience in architectural projects
• Experience with a private developer/builder or architectural firm in Melbourne
• Thorough knowledge of BCA, Australian standards and building construction
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• A passion for design and architecture
• Be able to work across several project
• Be a team player, self-motivated and able to work autonomously
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Be driven and want to progress your career
• Unrestricted right to work in Australia
