My client has a diverse portfolio of repeat clients and have been awarded over 10 new projects this year already. As a result they require a Project Manager to join their growing team to deliver commercial fitout projects in Retail, Office, Medical and Hospitality sectors.
They have attack record of delivering projects up to $5M but they are seeking a junior project manager capable of delivering multiple fitouts up to $1M.

They have a modern office space in the south east suburbs of Melbourne, a fun-packed fast-paced environment and are offering a base salary of $100,000 Plus superannuation plus uncapped bonuses based on the profitability of your own projects. The commission structure is straight forward, transparent and designed to give high achievers the rewards for their hard work.

Duties include:

• Liaising with and reporting to the clients
• Developing construction programmes
• Project Budgets and reports
• Ensure the work is completed on time, to budget and quality
• Overseeing site teams
• Manage and monitor site Health & Safety
• Manage subcontractors
• Produce site diary's and progress reports
• Attend and chair some management and progress meetings
• Good knowledge of standard forms of contract
• Ability to work in a team environment

Requirements:

• A trade or tertiary qualification in construction or project management
• Minimum 4 years experience working as a Contracts Administrator, Project Coordinator or Project Manager delivering commercial fitout projects
• Good knowledge of Melbourne Subcontractor market
• Excellent references from prior employers
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• An eye for quality
• Outgoing and self motivated
