Your New Role

This is a truly exciting opportunity for a 12D civil design engineer to transition off the tools into a fully fledged Project manager. You will be received continued guidance, training and support but will require fundamental knowledge and experience across some of the following:

  • Understanding and amending civil design plans for residential subdivisions including sewer, water and drainage
  • Managing a range of stakeholders including clients, contractors, sub-contractors, local water and road authorities
  • Assisting the team on putting together tenders/bids in an effort to secure future projects
  • Handling claim disputes and working collaboratively with contractors/clients
  • Managing the applications for planning permits, tenders, and heading up the approval process to ensure the projects remain compliant and stay on task
  • Issuing of reports and QA checks

What You'll Need to Succeed

  • Ideally You will come from a civil design or project engineer background with experience in a consultancy environment.
  • You will have an understanding of local design standards and be familiar working with local authorities
  • Civil Engineering degree or relevant tertiary qualification
  • Highly motivated, a quick study with excellent communication skills in both written reports and face to face.
  • Be seeking a long-term career as a fully-fledged project manager
