The successful applicant will gain valuable experience working closely with the project manager on diverse projects. The current project schedule includes, education, community, luxury apartment and fitout projects valued up to $15M.

Key responsibilities

• Liaising with Project and Site Managers
• Subcontractor management
• Ordering of materials
• Procurement
• Managing site / materials logistics
• Progress claims and variations

Key skills required to succeed

• A strong attention to detail
• A Tertiary qualification in construction or a related degree with the equivalent knowledge, skills
• A minimum of 2 years experience working for a commercial builder in Melbourne
• Previous practical experience with a reputable construction company in Melbourne is essential
• Knowledge of Melbourne construction market and subcontractors
• CHEOPS experince seen as a bonus
• Excellent communication and negotiating skills
• Current Drivers License Essential
