The successful applicant will gain valuable experience working closely with the project manager on diverse projects. The current project schedule includes, community, education and fitout projects valued up to $10M.

Key responsibilities

• Liaising with Project and Site Managers
• Subcontractor management
• Procurement
• Scheduling works
• Ordering of materials
• Managing site / materials logistics
• Contracts Administration
• Progress claims and variations

Key skills required to succeed

• A strong attention to detail
• A Tertiary qualification in construction or a related degree with the equivalent knowledge, skills
• 3-5 years practical experience with a reputable commercial construction company in Melbourne is essential
• Knowledge of Melbourne construction market and subcontractors
• Excellent communication and negotiating skills
• Excellent references
• Current Drivers License Essential
