Production Estimator

The Company
My client is a small custom home builder that has recently started out in the Melbourne market, with huge success. They have been steadily growing year-on-year and as a result are looking to add to their team. This is a company that places a huge emphasis on culture - their staff genuinely enjoy coming to work each day and are very supportive of one another. They are looking for a production estimator who can gel with the rest of the team and be a major part of their ongoing success.

The Role

• Quantifying materials and labour required on each job
• Performing details BOQs and quantity take offs
• Maintain price files within estimating software
• Ensure all tenders, contracts and variations are accurately completed
• Investigate and resolve issues to produce price quotations
• Obtaining quotes and pricing from suppliers and maintaining registers
• Working closely with internal departments

About You

• Driven, motivated and team-oriented personality
• Thorough understanding of residential building processes and details
• Estimating experience of 2 years minimum with a home builder
• Databuild experience (not essential)
• Relevant Tertiary qualifications
