Location - Melbourne, Victoria

My client, a Tier 1 plumbing contractor who have operated across Australia for nearly 30 years are in the market for their next superstar. This business employ over 400 staff and specialise in delivering some of the largest commercial, industrial and residential projects available.

Responsibilities;

• Preparation of tenders
• Submission of proposals
• Developing strong client business relationships
• Assessing, measuring and completing take offs from drawings
• Preparing and submitting of quotations
• Demonstrating a clear understanding of construction practices

Personal attributes required;

• Excellent organisation and time management skills
• Highly effective at working independently
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral
• Highly proficient in the use of technology, including Microsoft Excel
• Client focused & skill to maintain relationships
• Self-motivated person
• Strong commercial awareness

Minimum experience required for the role;

• A least 3 years experience as an Estimator
• Must have relevant plumbing/hydraulics experience across a range of commercial projects in Australia
• Ideally either a previously qualified tradesman or degree qualified
