My client a leading manufacturer of building products, seeking a skilled and experienced maintenance fitter to join our dynamic team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the maintenance and repair of industrial machinery and equipment used in the production of building materials.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment used in the manufacturing of building products.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues to minimize downtime.
  • Accurately read and interpret technical drawings and schematics related to industrial equipment.
  • Strictly adhere to all safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Work efficiently to meet production schedules and deadlines.
  • Document and record maintenance activities, including the use of spare parts.
Qualifications:
  • Trade qualifications as a maintenance fitter or a similar certification.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a maintenance role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient in the use of hand and power tools commonly used in industrial maintenance.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical ability to lift and move heavy machinery and materials as required.
  • Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening.
