Our clients is multi disciplinary teir 1 builder based in Melbourne. They are involved in Constructions, Maintenance and Interiors in all aspects of commercial work. With winning multiple maintenance projects they require 2 additional carpenters to join their team.

About the role

The role of Maintenance carpenter is a varied role where you will be required to carry out maintenance tasks at a uni. Some of the following tasks include Hanging whiteboards, picture frames/hooks/certificates, basic tiling/flooring, plastering and painting, installing vari-desks, installing toilet and bathroom partitions, demolition, installing and fixing sign posts/road signs, fixing and installing fly-screens, installing sliding doors, decks and pergolas, setting up stage performances and dismantling once finished for student performances, hall setups. The job comes with a vehicle you are allowed to take home and use on the weekends.

About you

• White card
• Own tools
• Cert 3 In carpentry or relevant experience
• Ability to pass a drug test
