Join a recognised concrete structures sub-contractor with established relationships throughout the commercial & residential sector delivering large scale concrete packages from $10-$30M here in Melbourne.

Reporting to the Construction Manager, this is a fantastic opportunity to advance your career and upsize your projects portfolio with support offered from management throughout your new venture.

Roles & Responsibilities

This lead estimating role, therefore, you will require a minimum of 3+ years working within the local concrete structures market in Australia or New Zealand.

• Complete tender submission from RFI, scope of works, take offs, submittals, and upkeep of tender registry
• Understanding of AUD construction standards and attention to detail within concrete structures with demonstrated experience in concrete packages
• Established relationships within the concrete industry
• Supply, cost planning & scope of works, first principles

• Maintaining products and pricing via estimating system

Required Attributes

• Clear communications and key skills in concrete estimating
• Software experience in Microsoft Office, Plan Swift, Buildsoft/ Cost X,

• Ability to read and navigate plans, specifications and tender documents

• Experience pricing works: including formwork, precast install, formwork placement and concrete placement here in Melbourne.

• Ability to work autonomously.
• Right to work in Australia

To be successful in this role you will hold previous estimating experience within the Concrete Structures industry, with a minimum of 3+ years Australian experience required.
