Job description

The Builder:

  • A Well-known, Lucrative and Established Tier 2 builder with offices across the East Coast of Australia
  • Delivered projects across Residential, Commercial, Health, Retail and Government marketplaces
  • 20+ years of experience
  • Projects range from $5mil to $150mil

The Project:

  • A large retail precinct in the heart of Ballarat (Circa $25mil)

The Role:

  • Review/report on matters pertaining to OH&S on site
  • Work with the other management to coordinate and plan ongoing OH&S requirements.
  • Review sub-contractor SWMS
  • Conduct on site safety audits
  • Quality control and rectification
  • General Labouring work
  • Effective administration and communication with subbies, project management and client/s

Must have:

  • 3 years+ experience in a similar OH&S/WHS/HSR role
  • Minimum of Certificate III in OHS
  • Experience working within construction (Commercial experience highly regarded)
  • Excellent Understanding of OH&S procedures and protocols
