Fetch Recruitment are currently looking to speak to Health & Safety Reps / Safety Labourers within Bendigo and surrounding areas.: 
 
The Builder:

  • A company with over 50 years industry exposure and a true Victoria industry leader in the commercial construction space.
  • Projects varying in size, valuing anywhere up to $50m.
  • Excellent history of delivering complex projects within the educational, commercial and fit out sector.
 
The Role:
 
  • Full time Health & Safety Rep / Safety Labourer.
  • All projects are Bendigo and surrounding areas.
  • Review/report on matters pertaining to OH&S on site.
  • Work with the other management to coordinate and plan ongoing OH&S requirements.
  • Effectively communicate with site management team to assist with daily on-site tasks including toolbox talks, site inductions and daily pre starts.
  • Review sub-contractor SWMS.
  • Conduct on site safety audits.
  • Effective administration and communication with subbies, project management and client/s
  • Being the extra hands-on site when available, you will be expected to pick up basic labouring duties when required.
 
Must have:
  • 2 years+ experience in a similar OH&S/WHS/HSR role
  • Minimum of Certificate III in OHS.
  • Must have strong computer and communication skills.
  • Must have a white card and Level 2 first aid (Or be willing to complete the course)
  • Experience working within construction (Commercial experience highly regarded)
  • Excellent Understanding of OH&S procedures and protocols.
