Leading Civil contractor looking for experienced Subdivision Foreman for projects in the North & West

Our client is leading civil contractor specialising in all areas of civil construction including subdivisions, roads and earthworks is currently seeking an Area Foreman for the and North & Eatern Suburbs to assist in the delivery of 2 existing projects in the North and East of Melbourne. They have a great reputation of looking after and valuing their staff, delivering high quality projects and are now looking high quality Foreman.
Your day to day duties will include the management of subcontractors, ordering, QA, OHS, liaising with clients and ensuring the project is delivered on time. You will be reporting directly to the Construction Manager and will be working alongside experienced Project Managers & Engineers to assist you in the prompt delivery of your projects.

This position will include and not be limited to:

• Plan and coordinate according to the construction program
• On site management of subcontractors
• Accountability for schedule, profitability and OH&S
• Deliver tool box meetings
• Preparing scope of work

To be successful for this role, the applicant will ideally possess the following:

• Minimum 3 years earthworks, subdivision or roadwork experience
• Outstanding organisational skills along with a strong communication capability
• Successfully delivered similar subdivision projects with in the Melbourne market
• Ability to drive sub-contractor productivity
