The Builder

  • A Well-known, Respected and Award-winning Tier 3 builder
  • Detailed new builds and refurbishments in the Commercial, Health, Government and Institutional marketplaces
  • Strong client base, enabling the builder to work on some of Melbourne's most Exclusive and Exciting Projects
  • Projects Range from $3mil to $70mil

The Project

A detailed and high-end Commercial new build for a leading developer on the cusp of the CBD (Circa $25mil)

The Role

Seeking a Finishes Foreman with a proven track record for the above project for a 3 month contract role starting immediately. Potential for longer term placement for the right person.

The Finishes Foreman will be responsible for;

  • Assisting with the scheduling and planning of work
  • On site Quality Assurance
  • Attend and present at weekly site meetings
  • Managing OHS
  • Coordinate finishes trades on site
  • Managing the works to ensure program and quality expectations are met to minimize any defects and long term maintenance issues
  • Managing the works to reasonably ensure they are fit for purpose and compliant with relevant standards
  • Liaising with sub-contractors, internal parties and various stakeholders

What We Are Looking For?

  • Trade background (preferred not essential)
  • Demonstrable experience as a Foreman or Site Manager on similar projects
  • Tier 1 or 2 experience (preferred not essential)
  • Proven experience of effectively managing sub-contractors, in a professional manner and ensuring longevity of relationships.
