THE COMPANY
My client is a Tier 2 Commercial builder making waves for close to two decades. Partnering with some of Australia’s finest architects, they work tirelessly to deliver complex and high quality commercial construction projects. With their continual success, they are now looking to add a HR qualified executive assistant to their team.

THE ROLE
A varied role where you’ll be handling both HR duties as well as Executive Assistant responsibilities. No two days will be the same. Here’s what a day to day could look like for you
  • Human Resources:
    • Manage the end to end recruitment activities and ensure all necessary new hire paperwork is completed
    • Advertising for active roles within the business and liaising with long-standing partner
    • Manage on boarding and induction for new starters
    • Implementing new initiatives for the company
    • Attending to any functions for site
  • Executive Assistant:
    • Extensive diary and calendar management for four people
    • Scheduling meetings/flights and ensuring all schedules align
    • Taking meeting minutes and distributing them to correct attendees
    • Coordinating staff travel and accommodation - both interstate and international
    • Email and phone management; prioritising urgent, and corresponding to necessary emails
    • Planning social events and functions for the company
THE CRITERIA
  • A Human Resources degree or equivalent qualification is essential 
  • At least 2 years’ experience working as an Executive Assistant
  • At least 2 years' experience within a Human Resources role 
  • Meticulous and detail oriented – this is a fast paced role that requires the right level of attention to detail
  • A strong willed personality that is able to adapt to the continuous challenges within the industry
  • Strong interpersonal skills – the ability to liaise with key internal and external stakeholders
