Excavator Operator - Full Time

• FULL TIME role with great civil company
• Fantastic projects and huge pipeline of work leading into 2022
• Up to $40 p/h FT + car + super + penalties

About the business

Working alongside some of Australia's biggest Civil Contractors, our client is assisting them in completing several civil packages including landscape works (both hard and softscape), VicRoads work, subdivisions, water infrastructure & more. They have a great name in the industry and a very low staff turnover!

About the role

• Bulk earthworks, rock breaking and loading trucks
• Trenching for drainage, pipelaying and backfilling
• Boxing out roads, building batters
• All aspects of landscaping - concreting, slabs, footpaths, paving, streetscape work etc
• Detailed excavations
• Some labouring & concreting work when the machine is being used (a background in this is desirable)

Skills and experience

• Strong background in operating excavators - 1.5T - 10T
• Australian Driver's license and own transport
• White Card & relevant plant ticket
• Genuine experience on civil projects
• Self motivated and can maintain machine to high standard
• OHS focussed

Due to the duration of the project and the pipeline of work, our client is looking to put people on full time once the candidates have completed their probation period. Salary will be negotiable depending on experience
