Delivering structural steel packages to both residential & construction projects throughout inner Melbourne and surrounds, located North West of Melbourne.

Due to industry demand our client is now seeking a talented and experienced Estimator with focus in structural steel to join the team on a full time basis.

Roles & Responsibilities

As an experienced Estimator, you will play a key role in the growth of the business with demonstrated knowledge & experience with structural steel delivering both residential construction projects.

• The successful candidate will provide take offs from technical drawings and construction plans using the latest latest 3D Structural Steel software and technology.
• Experience with Structural Steel Erection with a minimum of 3+ years local experience

Developing and sustaining strong client relationships you will be working closely with subcontractors & contractors, presenting a personable yet strong approach to getting numbers over the line.

Personal Attributes

• Sound understanding of the, Australian residential & construction industry with the ability to read & understand plans/drawings.
• Exposure & demonstrated experience in tender submissions

• Excellent organisation and time management with the ability to lead when required
• Ability to work autonomously with demonstrated ability to tender and gain structural packages of up to $5 + Million

To be successful in this role you will hold previous estimating experience within the Steel Structures industry here in Melbourne, with a minimum of 3+ years Australian experience required.
