Are you an experienced estimator looking for more? We now have an exciting role for a skilled estimator to join a business operating out of the lively South Melbourne head office.

With packages offered across piling, earthworks, mobility teams and trucking / logistics you will be joining a team of 3 reporting to the Estimating Manager & Director.

With multiple civil, residential & basement projects already underway averaging around $1-$4M per package you will be the key role in the business assisting in the further growth throughout the market.

Roles & Responsibilities

As Estimator you will have proven experience working alongside a similar company in Australia or New Zealand or with experience estimating similar projects.

• Deliver on Australian Standards, working off first principles in estimating.
• Complete tender submission from RFI, scope of works, take offs, submittals, and upkeep of tender registry.

• Ability to read and navigate plans, specifications, variations.

• Driven to meet deadlines - up to x10 tender submissions weekly.
• Software experience in Microsoft Office, Plan Swift, Build-soft/ Cost X,

Required Attributes

• Experience pricing works: including concrete packages, piling, earth works, structure packages here in Melbourne.
• Demonstrated experience interpreting and estimating quantities in line with AUD standards
• Clear communication / develop and maintain ongoing client relationships.

• Ability to work autonomously & lead in a team
• Excellent time and priority management skills

To be successful in this role you will hold previous estimating experience within the civil or structures industry, with a minimum of 6+ years Australian experience required.
