We are seeking a skilled Estimator to join a new start up business here in Melbourne, make no mistake you will be joining some of Melbourne's leading talent in joining this specialist structures company. With 3 large scale concrete structure projects already underway totalling to near $90M you will be the key point in the next stage of growth focusing around residential, commercial & basement concrete projects.

Roles & Responsibilities

As Lead Estimator you will have proven experience working alongside a similar company in Australia or New Zealand or with experience estimating concrete structures within your portfolio.

You will have a ability to deliver on Australian Standards working off first principles in estimating projects anywhere from $6-$15 Million.

• Complete tender submission from RFI, scope of works, take offs, submittals, and upkeep of tender registry.

• Supply, cost planning & scope of works, first principles

• Maintaining products and pricing

• Driven to meet deadlines
• Create the companies built up rates adjusting ongoingly.
• Software experience in Microsoft Office, Plan Swift, Buildsoft/ Cost X,

• Ability to read and navigate plans, specifications and tender documents

Required Attributes

• Clear communication
• Experience pricing works: including formwork, precast install, formwork placement and concrete placement here in Melbourne.

• Right to work in Australia

• Ability to work autonomously
• Excellent time and priority management skills

To be successful in this role you will hold previous estimating experience within the Concrete Structures industry, with a minimum of 2.5-3+ years Australian experience required.
