We are recruiting on behalf of a leading civil construction company known for delivering high-quality infrastructure and sub-division projects across Queensland and Australia.
Position Overview:
This leading Civil company are seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join the team in their yard in Rocklea. In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance, service and repair of earthmoving plant and machinery. This role will be a mixture of workshop and field based work.

This is a permanent opportunity with a review at 6 months and the potential of increasing pay rates once set milestones are achieved. This is an ongoing position where you will be working 8-10 hour days, 5 days per week with some Saturdays required.

- Fulltime role including annual leave and personal leave
- Fully maintained vehicle with access to a wide range of tools and equipment
DUTIES + EXPERIENCE:
- Maintenance, servicing and repair of earthmoving plant and equipment such as excavators, dozers, graders, scrapers, etc
- Troubleshooting and thinking 'outside the box' for some repairs
- Cert 3 in Mobile Plant and experience with earthmoving plant and machinery
- Current and valid drivers license
- Be able to consistently work 9-10 hours, Monday to Friday, with some Saturdays required
- White card
- Secure parking for work vehicle is an absolute must
