Construction Manager - Commercial Projects up to $15M

Exclusive opportunity to join an industry leader in commercial construction.

With a diverse portfolio of mixed commercial projects my client has forged a reputaion as industry leader in design, innovation and construction for over 10 years. With an increased workload and expanding team we are looking to employ a construction manager to maintain our high standards and grow with the business.

As Construction Manager you will report into the Directors and be responsible for all the construction operations. Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to the following;

  • Ensuring all the projects are delivered efficiently and effectively to timescales and budgets
  • Provide advice and vision on all projects
  • Lead the construction team throughout the entirety of the projects
  • Be able to lead and negotiate on all levels of the projects themselves
  • Manage all resources on the projects in operation
  • To lead and oversee the development of methodologies and execution of all site based construction activities to meet targets of the project or program and budge
  • To ensure correct supervisory levels, construction cost, schedule and change management In addition, help to shape the vision and direction of the construction unit for the long term
  • Mentor the project managers and ensure the highest standards are met at all times


The Successful Applicant

To be successful in this Construction Management position you will have proven experience delivering commercial projects. You will have strong negotiation and influencing skills with the capacity to lead, inspire and develop construction teams. In addition you will have the following attributes:

  • Proven ability to manage projects/programs to deliver target financial outcomes
  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects concurrently
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of internal/external stakeholders
  • Capability to work within a highly adaptive environment
  • Desire to be hands on and drive desirable business outcomes
