The Company
This engineering and professional services consultancy continues to be the national industry leader in Land development space. Their strategic and organic growth in Victoria has been such that they are now looking for an experienced Design manager to join their leadership team. Currently operating as one large team across all there land development projects they are looking for someone to work along side their current Design manager to form a 2nd project group.

The role

Reporting directly to the General manager the successful candidate will be responsible for managing and leading his own team of engineers across a portfolio of land development projects. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and guiding your own team of 25+ engineers and drafters
  • Managing resourcing, budgets and deliverables across a range of concurrent land development projects
  • Play a key role in the management of projects stakeholders including developers, project managers, the civil contractors and engineers
  • Work closely with the general manager to start to play an active role in business development and marketing
  • Mentoring and developing the engineers and drafters in your team and providing individualised visions and opportunities for professional growth
