Role Responsibilities

As a Associate Electrical Engineer in my clients Building Services team, you will

• Develop study and design procedures to facilitate high quality and cost-effective work across a range of market sectors, including; Commercial, Aviation, Healthcare, Defence
• Leading and running your own medium to large projects
• Develop mechanical designs and delivery for there major client projects
• Participate in technical review of projects across all sectors
• Proactively identify opportunities for improvement
• Participate in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables
• Provide guidance and mentoring to graduate and junior engineers
• Perform quality control review of design calculations or drawings
• Provides input to the development of engineering budget and schedule to meet requirements

Minimum Requirements

• Proven knowledge and experience working within a technical design-focussed HVAC/Electrical Engineering role
• Experience in a Building Services Consultancy or have demonstrable design experience working as a Senior/Principal Engineer in a Electrical Services discipline
• Ability to manage project priorities and communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders around key project dates
• Proven client management skills, with a proactive approach to client engagement and project delivery
• Demonstrable experience in one or more of the following project sectors; Healthcare, Defence, Commercial or Aviation, highly advantageous
• Experience in managing projects and budgets to meet time and resource requirements
• Demonstrated experience and understanding of Australian Building Services projects and standards
• Passion in Electrical Engineering and a proactive interest in developing your career in Electrical Engineering and Building Services, while supporting major projects
• Exceptional levels of written and oral communication
• BEng in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering is preferred
• Knowledge or exposure to Camel or IES software, not essential but highly advantageous
