This is a highly transactional role and you'll be responsible for managing crucial aspects of administration and financial operations; collaborating with the CFO on various tasks, and contributing to the smooth financial management of the company.

The Role
This is a highly transactional role and you'll be responsible for managing crucial aspects of administration and financial operations; collaborating with the CFO on various tasks, and contributing to the smooth financial management of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct bank reconciliations and subsidiary ledger support
- Support in payroll GL postings and reconciliations
- Monitor subsidiary debtors' ledger and project transactions
- Assist the CFO in accounting software integration
- Review project cost and cash flow reports
- Maintain project bank guarantee and leasing schedules
- Prepare cost centre financial statements and reconcile sub-ledger trial balances
- Review and support Workcover remuneration estimates
- Review trade creditor applications and manage credit processes
- Assist with EBA payroll processing and statutory compliance
The Person
Given the transactional nature of this role, it may best suit someone with prior experience working in a small team or standalone Finance or Bookkeeping role.
- Prior experience working as an Accounts/Finance Officer, Assistant Accountant or Bookkeeper.
- Industry expertise from Construction, Building Services, Manufacturing or similar industries would be preferred.
- Excellent time management, prioritisation skills and attention to detail
- High level of English communication skills, both verbal and written
- Working knowledge of employment conditions associated with Payroll
- Deep interest in learning and developing your skillset
